I cannot fault this place at all. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun. The aromatics coming from the kitchen are divine. We tried the Goat Curry and the Butter chicken which were both an 11/10. Make sure to book, or you might miss out.

The best North Indian food in Cape Town. Absolutely unreal. From the starters to the mains everything was stupidly tasty. Portion sizes are big so save space and don’t get too excited with the delicious starters - but can confirm the curry tastes just as good as leftovers the next day! They have recently moved from their beautiful heritage building to a bigger space in the Waterkant which has lost a bit of the charm but the food remains unmatched. Do yourself a favor and go. You won’t be disappointed.

Came here with my friend as she always raves about the place. Had no idea it was so lovely inside! Thought it was a takeaway joint. To start we had potato samoosas. Personally, I would skip these, but the spinach bhajis (complimentary) were sensational. For mains we shared the mushroom curry and aubergine curry - the aubergine curry was rich, slightly spicy and unctuous - probably one of the top three best curries I’ve had. The owner is extremely hands on and came to us to explain the menu concept and their style of curry (they prioritise flavour over spice and if you want it milder or hotter just let them know). The decor was gorgeous and I can’t wait to book the private blue room for my next dinner.

I heard this was one of the best restaurants to visit if you're into Indian cuisine. I definitely heard correctly. Probably one of the best tasting Butter Chicken dishes I've had. Authentic and fantastic. Amazing starters, service and atmosphere. I will without a doubt be visiting again

Awesome service – 10/10! Super friendly staff helped us pick from the menu with a smile. Cozy vibe, cool decor, and speedy food. Tasty curry, though the rice ratio could be better. Spice level 5/10 still lit us up – beware!

Tried this place out on a whim, while visiting Cape Town and really struck gold! The waiters treated us like family, very clear and descriptive when describing the dishes. Food was superb, tried an unfamiliar dish but was blown away. Will be returning soon!
